School Story

WSU Criminal Justice degree. Retired after 35 1/2 years with King County Sheriff as Forensic Scientist Latent Fingerprint Examiner. Responded to over 1,000 crime scenes to preserve evidence, testify in court to findings. Training other employees. Currently Criminal Justice adjunct Instructor for Green River College in Fingerprint Science. Also do presentations regarding my CSI experiences. Married over 30 years. Became vegetarian in late 80s.

Only attend JFK for 2 years (Freshman/Sophomore) then family moved to Auburn.

Such an interesting career! I was very interested in criminology in college. After dating 2 fbi agents in my 20’s, I applied to be an fbi agent. I was accepted after waiting out a long government hiring freeze. I ended up saying no, as I was getting married in 2 weeks. I’ve always wondered about what I missed. I know my life would have been so much different. In many ways I’m glad I didn’t accept. My life would have been very black and white instead of colorful.
